Booking and cancellation terms

For the Guangdong Pearl River Gourmet tour departing 27 November 2026. Read these terms before payment; a confirmed booking follows the fare and terms version shown before payment. Deposit and balance The deposit is RM2,000 per adult or Child No Bed aged 2–11 and forms part of the tour fare. The balance for this group tour is due at least 21 working days before departure; the confirmation will state the exact due date. A missed payment may cancel the reservation, with the deposit handled under the applicable terms. Infant bookings require a separate quotation and cannot be paid automatically. Changes to a booking Once confirmed, changes to the group reservation are not accepted within 14 working days before departure. Changing the entire booking may cancel the original and require a new reservation. An individual early or late return, name change or flight date change is subject to airline rules and availability. Applicable charges will be explained before the change is confirmed. Traveller cancellation: charge per person Please notify Beyond Travel in writing. Periods below are working days before departure; percentage charges use that traveller's confirmed tour fare. The deposit is not automatically forfeited in every period. 45 working days or more: RM30 or 2% of tour fare, whichever is higher 22–44 working days: Forfeiture of deposit paid 15–21 working days: 35% of tour fare 8–14 working days: 50% of tour fare 3–7 working days: 75% of tour fare 2 working days or less: 100% of tour fare A promotional air ticket may have separate cancellation or change restrictions under the airline's conditions. Beyond Travel will explain known restrictions when confirming the booking and provide the basis for any additional charge. Other travel terms Cancellation by Beyond Travel If Beyond Travel cancels because there are insufficient passengers or transport or accommodation cannot be secured, payments received will be refunded and any compensation due under applicable Malaysian outbound-tour standard terms will be handled accordingly. For events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, war, strikes, riots or government orders, we will advise travellers and offer a suitable alternative tour; refunds for travellers who decline follow applicable standard terms. Travel documents Travellers must hold valid travel documents and meet visa and entry requirements. Passports should remain valid for at least six months after return. Beyond Travel will explain known document requirements and assist where practicable, but cannot guarantee a visa or entry approval. Fare and inclusions If airfares, transport, hotels, exchange rates or taxes affect the price before confirmation, we will advise travellers first. Inclusions are those listed on this tour page and in the confirmation; personal purchases, unspecified meals and optional activities are at the traveller's expense. Adult twin and triple sharing have the same per-person fare, a single room adds RM800, Child No Bed aged 2–11 receives 10% off the applicable adult fare, and each room has at most three occupants. Unused services Services included in the fare but not used for a traveller's personal reasons, including flights, hotels, meals, sights or transport, are generally not refunded separately. Baggage and itinerary changes Baggage allowance and carriage conditions follow the China Southern ticket arrangements for this tour; we will list the allowance in the departure notice. Flights, weather, traffic or local conditions may require changes to the sightseeing order, hotels or route. We will arrange suitable alternatives and advise travellers. Safety and responsibility Beyond Travel may decline or end participation under applicable terms if a traveller endangers others or seriously disrupts the tour. Beyond Travel remains responsible under applicable law for transport, accommodation and other services it has agreed to provide. Travel insurance Personal travel insurance is not included. Please arrange suitable coverage; your policy states the cover, limits and claims process. Working days are Monday to Friday in Malaysia, excluding public holidays. Written notice is measured when Beyond Travel receives it. Applicable statutory consumer rights and outbound-tour standard terms prevail.
